‘Panch Mahatirtha Darshan Yatra’ by Bharat Gaurav Train: The journey of Godhra’s popular social worker Jagdish Chandra Bariya and 1000 pilgrims became memorable

The ‘Bharat Gaurav Train’ launched by Indian Railways (IRCTC) has today become a wonderful means of religious and cultural travel for the citizens of the country.
Jagdish Chandra Bariya and 1000 other pilgrims joined it then.

1. Start of the journey and arrival at the holy Puri Dham:
   Devotees enthusiastically joined this special train from various areas of Gujarat such as Surendranagar, Viramgam, Sabarmati, Nadiad, Anand, Chhayapuri, Godhra and Dahod. After continuous train travel, the train reached Puri / Maltipatpur railway station on 31 August. From there, all the 1000 pilgrims were transferred to the hotel by IRCTC via bus.
2. Darshan of Lord Jagannathji and Enjoyment at Puri Beach:
   After reaching Puri, Jagadish Chandra Bariya and all the 1000 pilgrims with him went to the world famous Shri Jagannathji Temple and had the divine darshan of Lord Jagannath, Balabhadraji and Mata Subhadraji. Everyone was overwhelmed by the devotional atmosphere of the temple and the flag fluttering on the peak and felt blessed.
   After the sacred experience of darshan, all the pilgrims reached Puri Beach (seashore). The huge waves of the sea, golden sand and the pleasant evening breeze removed the fatigue of the pilgrims. Jagadish Chandra Bariya and the fellow pilgrims took photographs at Puri Beach, enjoyed playing with the waves and enjoyed the evening by visiting the local market.
3. Further divine pilgrimage sites of the journey:
   During the stay at Puri, the pilgrims also visited the world famous Konark Sun Temple and Lingaraj Temple. Moving on from Puri, the train will take the pilgrims to the Shakti Peeth Kamakhya Temple in Guwahati, Assam, Bodh Gaya and Vishnupad Temple (Gaya) in Bihar, Kashi Vishwanath (Varanasi) with holy Ganga Aarti in Uttar Pradesh and the newly built grand Ram Janmabhoomi Temple and Hanumangarhi (Ayodhya) and will return on September 10.
4. Excellent planning and facilities:
   IRCTC has made excellent arrangements for such a large number of devotees (1000 pilgrims) to come on the railways, including pure vegetarian food (breakfast, lunch, dinner), bottled water, clean accommodation in the hotel, bus facilities for local travel and security guards.
