Bajaj Auto has launched the all-new Pulsar 125 and Pulsar 150 in India, built on a completely redesigned platform.
The Pulsar 125 starts at Rs 92,990, ex-showroom, while the Pulsar 150 starts at Rs 1,15,233, ex-showroom.
Both motorcycles move to a new diamond-type frame with the engine as a stressed member, replacing the outgoing double-cradle chassis architecture.
The new platform also swaps the traditional twin rear shock absorbers for a monoshock setup, alongside all-new LED lighting and connected instrument consoles.
Both models get all-new engines alongside the chassis overhaul, with the Pulsar 125’s 124.58cc unit producing around 12 hp and 11 Nm, and the Pulsar 150’s 149.5cc engine putting out 14 hp and 13.7 Nm.
The launch marks one of the most significant updates to Bajaj’s Pulsar line since it was first introduced in 2001, with the new chassis, suspension and electronics aimed at keeping the range competitive in a crowded 125-150cc segment.
The Pulsar 150 comes in three variants — LCD Single Seat, TFT Single Seat and TFT Split Seat — priced at Rs 1,15,233, Rs 1,22,184 and Rs 1,23,187 respectively.
Higher variants of both motorcycles get a 5-inch TFT instrument display with Google-powered turn-by-turn navigation, a segment-first feature at this price point.
Bajaj’s new Crawl Tech, claimed as a first for the 125cc and 150cc segments, allows the motorcycle to move at low speeds without throttle input, easing rider fatigue in heavy traffic.
The Pulsar range has been one of Bajaj Auto’s best-selling motorcycle lines since its original launch in 2001, and this generation marks its most significant platform change in years.
Both models get all-new engines alongside the chassis overhaul, with the Pulsar 125’s 124.58cc unit producing around 12 hp and 11 Nm, and the Pulsar 150’s 149.5cc engine putting out 14 hp and 13.7 Nm.
The Pulsar 125 is offered in four variants — Standard, Standard Single Seat, Split Seat and Premium Split Seat — priced at Rs 92,990, Rs 99,291, Rs 1,00,288 and Rs 1,04,318 respectively.
